Bernard Phanord

President & CEO

Bernard Phanord is an executive leader, real estate professional, and community advocate with more than a decade of experience driving affordable housing initiatives, property development, and organizational growth across South Florida. He currently serves as President & CEO of the Collective Empowerment Group of South Florida, where he provides strategic leadership to a coalition of faith-based and community organizations dedicated to expanding housing access, financial empowerment, and economic opportunity.

In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Bernard has built a successful career as a licensed Realtor with Keller Williams Elite Properties, guiding multimillion-dollar residential and commercial transactions. He has delivered numerous first-time homebuyer workshops, educating hundreds of families on mortgages, financing, and ownership, while cultivating trusted referral networks with attorneys, lenders, and contractors.

Bernard is also the founder of Phanord Enterprises, LLC, a real property development and consulting firm launched in 2017 to address critical needs in minority homeownership, small business development, and cultural awareness. His previous leadership includes serving as President & COO of BOA Investment Group, where he was responsible for property acquisition and rehabilitation while spearheading community revitalization initiatives.

Recognized by Legacy Miami as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Tomorrow and selected as a UM Scholar in Affordable Housing, Bernard’s work reflects a lifelong commitment to strengthening communities through housing, education, and economic inclusion. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Arts in Public Administration (with a certificate in Law, Ethics & Society) from Florida International University, and is an active member of the Miami Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and several civic and ministerial alliances.
